Since March 2016, Old South has partnered with the Weymouth Food Pantry to host a Pop-Up Pantry (PUP) here at the church. Every Saturday morning from 10:00-11:00 am, the PUP is open to residents in Weymouth who need help stocking their cupboards and filling their refrigerators. We serve 70-85 families every week.
Our mission isn’t just to provide food, though. We aim to create a warm, welcoming environment filled with love and laughter so that we can lift people’s moods as we fill their shopping carts. . The South Shore Pet Food Pantry also organizes regular distributions of pet food in conjunction with our weekly PUPs.
